The Council have just released a draft program of works for 2015.
the following is a list of works for the Swords Ward.
Road re-construction: Rathbeale Road swords €200,000 ( this work is to be carried out on the Swords to Ashbourne road, past the twelve apostles cottages towards Ashbourne)
Special Works:
Swords footpaths: Main Street, Oaklands, Rivervalley, Glasmore, €50,000
Donabate, rainage: Ballisk lane and Turvey €50,000
Santry, drainage : Santry Close and Northwood €40,000
St Margarets-Rivermeade road resurface €25,000
Restoration and Maintenance Grants Roads.
Abbeylea : Macadam overlay €50,000
Seatown Road Swords: macadam overlay €18,500
Traffic Management: ramps and cushions.
Santry Royal Oak. €17,000
Swords Seatown villas. €10,000
Donabate: Turvey Avenue. €22,000
- At the playground in Rathingle which is in need or refurbishment
Operations Parks Dept:
Swords: Rathingle playground. €25,000 and childrens fitness trail. €15,000 ( this work will not commence until the county council have updated their procurement specifications to ensure the quality of the equipment is robust enough to cater for the demand on this equipment. this will take about 6 months)
Newbridge Demense: excercise equipment €10,000
Santry Demense:excercise equipment €10,000
