I recently met with the operations department of the Council and I brought up a number of issues that I encountered when out  canvassing. The following is a report on the outcome of this meeting. I reported a leaking sewer on the Forest Road beside the Lord Mayor Pub to Irish Water on the 16th of June, the County Council have been informed and they are now progressing this issue. I have asked Irish Water to update their website in a speedy fashion to inform people of the issue. they

12t June 2014 I had occasion today to contact the water department   in Fingal to report a leak in the River Valley area, I was advised that I had to contact Irish Water to log the complaint and that Irish Water would handle the issue. The phone number for Irish Water is 1890 278 278.

This is the usual traffic congestion in Swords Village most evenings. Traffic turning down Church Road have to take up the right hand lane while traffic turning right at the lord mayors pub have to wait in the left hand lane until a space opens up for them at the far side of the yellow

Today Monday the 19th of May while canvassing in Royal Oak Santry I spoke to a member of the Residents Association who complained to me about the lack of grass cutting and maintenance  in the Estate.  There is also a problem with people dumping rubbish in the hedgerows along the green space in the area.

Heavy construction traffic in Ridgewood is causing concern to some residents. I was speaking to a mother of two children who lives on Ridgewood Avenue, she said the trucks are speeding along this stretch of road and she is worried for the safety of her children. I will contact the developer and  the county council

A number of Residents in Ridgewood Estate in Swords  are concerned about the additional traffic that will be passing the front of their houses on Ridgewood Avenue due to new housing development, at present there is about fifty houses been built near the football pitches, residents are also concerned about future development in this area

While out canvassing in Boroimhe on the 8th of May I came across a number of people in Boroimhe Hazel who are up in arms about the property tax.
